After the election results came in last night, I felt such despair. Why? Because I believe the final battle of good vs. evil has been unleashed in our country.
According to the media, celebrations galore are happening because a man of color has been elected. What I see is a man who appears to have seduced the general public. He has seduced them with the words, "We're going to change the world."
Sounds to me like that's a fulfillment of a long ago prophecy made just as the final battle of the world sets its final stage.
I don't know what is going to happen. Neither do you. All I know is now is the time to spend some time praying for our country and its leadership.
Let me close with a quote from a president who was deeply disturbed by all the rhetoric of good vs. evil during his lifetime. We made it through that battle. What about this one?
"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
