VWV Note: Saw this today and just knew you all would want to let the President know exactly what he should do. Think someone will suggest showing his birth certificate or supporting the military or missile defense? I wonder if this group will post all ideas- whether or not they agree with the President's agenda......
ObamaShould.org Engages Community to Submit Constructive Ideas to the President
/PRNewswire/ -- Debuting this week, ObamaShould.org is being launched with the purpose of re-engaging disillusioned citizens into the political process. The grass roots movement's premise is based primarily on the historic mobilization of Barack Obama's presidential campaign through the use of technology and interaction.
By leveraging a social media strategy as a means for ongoing engagement, anyone can post suggestions and ideas by tweeting #obamashould or posting ideas directly to the website -- http://www.obamashould.org/.
"ObamaShould's purpose is not to advance a particular agenda, but to make our democracy better," said the site's founder, Edo Segal. "In this activity America leads the world through example as our democracy evolves.
"Obamashould.org is a site for people to voice their opinions regardless of political affiliation. We've taken an approach that has worked for companies like Dell and others to collect and self-organize people's ideas into useful information without the need for an army of staffers. It is not a way to govern, but a way to effectively filter ideas."
ObamaShould.org was built by a group of volunteers as a public service and an open source project that anyone can use, regardless of political affiliation.

Mandatory Abortion, Sir Czar?
VWV Note: Fox News has released a story in which the newly created Science Czar guru wrote a science textbook in 1977 promoting mandatory abortion. Gee, maybe in addition to the "counseling" for end of life alternatives, newly pregnant women will be turned in so they, too, can get their end of life counseling for their child. Far fetched? I only hope it is.

Notre Dame Threatens Arrests of Pro-Lifers
VWV Note: Guess we'll see the outcome of this alleged threat in about one hour. What's really going on? Why would Notre Dame allegedly send plain clothes policemen off site to a press conference and threaten to arrest someone if they stepped foot on the campus? Which is more important to Notre Dame? Do as I say or do as I say I believe?
Notre Dame, Obama, and Abortion: Dr. Alan Keyes and 20 Pro-Lifers to be Arrested With Baby Strollers at Notre Dame on Friday, 11:30 a.m., May 8, 2009
/PRNewswire / -- The following is being issued by Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue. Dr. Alan Keyes and 20 pro-lifers will walk on to Notre Dame's campus at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 08, 2009, with baby strollers carrying baby dolls covered in "stage blood" to protest the invitation of Notre Dame to President Obama to deliver the commencement address at this year's graduation.
On Thursday, May 7, Dr. Keyes was unexpectedly approached at a press conference on public property by two plain clothes Notre Dame Policemen, and told that if he walks on Notre Dame's campus for any reason, he will be arrested.
Dr. Keyes was shocked. He stated: "I have not even stepped foot on the campus, and they give me this warning? They told me: 'We are just doing our job.' I told them I am just coming to witness for the truth."
Dr. Keyes had a long conversation with both men, telling them that they have a duty to God to do what is right. He told them that on the day of Judgment they will not be excused for wrong doing, because they were "doing their job," any more than German guards at concentration camps could make such an excuse.
Dr. Keyes released a statement explaining why he was willing to be arrested. Dr. Keyes full text can be read at www.StopObamaNotreDame.com.
On Thursday, pro-lifers began to arrive from around the country to push the strollers with Dr. Keyes, and face the ire of Notre Dame Officials, as well as arrest. Most of those risking arrest are from Notre Dame; but pro-life advocates from Washington D.C., Michigan, Texas, Arkansas, and Ohio also have arrived.
Randall Terry, www.StopObamaNotreDame.com organizer states: "Dr. Keyes presence has catapulted this battle to a new level. If we have 100 or more people going to jail over the next week protesting this blatant evil, it may derail Obama's speech, and it will be a message that reaches America, the Vatican, and the world.
"We are asking our pro-life friends to join us in jail, or at least to come and stand with us in the streets."

Watch Out- Free Speech May be Subject to Government Regulation
As a firm believer in our country and in our Constitution, I am appalled at the state of the union today. Will free speech remain free or will it be completely taken over and regulated by those who "know best"?
Take a look at this interesting article and keep your eyes open. The battle is on.
Son of The Fairness Doctrine
Posted by Brian Darling (Profile)
Don’t be fooled by President Obama’s purported renunciation of the Fairness Doctrine last week. The far left fully intends to use a new regulatory scheme, the Son of The Fairness Doctrine, to regulate conservative talk radio. As Erick Erickson wrote last week on Red State, “Congress will restrict how many stations a company can own in a market. They’ll also require advisory boards for each station and make it easier to address consumer complaints against stations.” Although the left has backed away from the Fairness Doctrine because it is ineffective, they are gathering support for an attack on conservative talk radio......

Many Faiths, How Many Gods?
I decided I would check out the speech President Obama delivered this am at the National Prayer Breakfast. He mentioned there are many faiths and not one of them is centered on hate. Nice sentiment, although some faiths seem to bring out the worst in human nature. Guess it's that old "die for the cause and get rewarded" extremism by some Middle Eastern faiths that has gotten the rest of the world confused. Guess some of us have missed the love concept.
There was one sentence that rocked me in the speech. Mr. Obama is known to be a good speaker and he is known for "let me make this perfectly clear" speechifying. How could a man who says he is a Christian (as he says in this speech) make the following statement?
"....But no matter what we choose to believe, let us remember that there is no religion whose central tenet is hate. There is no God who condones taking the life of an innocent human being. This much we know.".....
Excuse me? This super clear speaking man has just intentionally said, "There is no God who condones..." blah blah. How many are there?
Shouldn't the clear corrrect Christian statement be "God, in his Ten Commandments, said, Thou shall not kill"?
Doesn't this one statement sound as if there are multiple god types running around? Has he checked the Ten Commandments lately? Isn't there one that states "Thou shalt not have any other gods before me"?
For one who always wants to be perfectly clear, I guess we can see exactly how clear his beliefs are.
