Are These the Questions Congress Wants You to Answer?

So, Specter wants a Congressional hearing over the VA Book that was reinstated by the Obama Administration? Will he and his Democratic colleagues be ready to testify that this is part of the "end of life" counseling they currently have in their health care bill?

I was ready to stroll outside and shoot myself to put me out of my misery after I read the book--- and I'm not sick or disabled or depressed. What would someone who is in pain do after reading the book?


Limbaugh Takes on White House for VA 'Death Book'

On Friday, radio talk show king Rush Limbaugh was on fire over the content of the Veterans’ Administration "Death Book" (pdf), the “end of life counseling” the VA now inflicts on our veterans.

Pine Tree Crosses Stand Tall on Easter

Last year, I came across pine tree crosses. The story I read discussed how pine trees begin their growth in the early spring. By Easter, the story said, the trees will exhibit a cross.

As it was after Easter when I read about this phenomena, I made a mental note to search this year.

I began looking at the local trees around the first of April. I watched the growth and noticed no cross.

Then, on Easter Sunday, there they were. Crosses standing tall. So, yes, my friends. Nature shows us the promise of life after death.

Pope to Pelosi: Catholic Politicians Must Protect Life

Note: This press release is so different from the one Speaker Nancy Pelosi released earlier today. In her release, she just positively gushed about showing the Pope her family pictures. Funny how she didn't mention the admonishment at all. Guess we have to wonder if she heard him?
